Tab Session Manager is designed with privacy-first principles. We do NOT collect:

• Your browsing history or saved sessions
• URLs, page titles, or tab content
• Personal information or identifiers
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Cookies or tracking data
• IP addresses or device information

How Your Data is Stored

Local Storage Only

All your saved sessions are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data:

• Never leaves your computer
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Is automatically removed when you uninstall the extension
• Can be cleared at any time through the extension settings

Cloud Sync (Pro Feature)

If you upgrade to Tab Session Manager Pro and enable cloud sync:

• Your session data is encrypted before being transmitted
• Data is stored in your personal cloud storage account
• You can delete your cloud data at any time
• Cloud sync is optional and disabled by default

Permissions Explained

Tab Session Manager requests the following Chrome permissions:

• tabs - To read tab URLs and titles when you save a session
• storage - To save your sessions locally on your device
• tabGroups - To preserve Chrome's tab group organization
• alarms - To enable optional auto-save scheduling

These permissions are the minimum required for the extension to function. We do not request any permissions that allow us to access your data externally.

Third-Party Services

Tab Session Manager does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The extension operates completely independently.

Data Security

Since your data never leaves your device (in the free version), you maintain complete control over your session data. Chrome's built-in security measures protect your stored sessions.

Children's Privacy

Tab Session Manager does not collect any data from any users, including children under 13. The extension is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes will be communicated through the extension's update notes.
